Celestino Elice is the heart and soul of Cafe Verona
Cafe Verona was opened at the beginning of March 2001 by Celestino Elice, and has been in the business since.
Mr. Elice was born and raised at the Italian Riviera, and lived and traveled throughout Europe, Canada and the United States. He has worked over several decades in the restaurant business at such celebrated locations as Vesuvio Cafe in Paris, Regines in New York and Chianti in Los Angeles. Mr. Elice brought his Italian heritage and other European culinary influences to California, and decided to open Cafe Verona because he wanted to offer the same healthy, delicious and affordable Italian cuisine that was thought to him as a child by his extensive family back in the beautiful region of Northern Italy.
